Sunday Ride: 14th January 2018

Mark H was at the helm with Tom V riding shot-gun as seven of us headed westward towards stokebrokerland to the Thames-side destination of the East Moseley Cricket Club. A speedy an easy ride via Epsom and Oxshott with a natty swerve to avoid that awful A3 roundabout on the Esher by-pass.

The good news is it wasn’t too cold. The price you pay for that in January is a cloudy dull day as you can see from the ‘pushed’ picture above which was the only one that wasn’t too dark. EMCC is a great destination boasting [take deep breath] efficient service at reasonable rates for the 4×4 SUV infested efffluent Surrey surburbs.

The route back went further south through Leatherhead and up Little Switzerland – the only real climb of the day – where we lost one rider. Hopefully to be seen again. 50.61 miles at a brisk 13.21 mph average speed.
