Sandra meets a pair of T*ssers at Denbies

This winter with the Tuesday riders has not been all sunshine and smiles. Some of the rides have been tough enough to make us just grit our teeth as we forge our way around the Surrey hills in rain, sleet and snow. this Shrove Tuesday saw John Dadson manfully leading us around to Denbies on Shrove Tuesday where we met up with John and Meike Turnbull. John kindly informed us that Shrove Tuesday was named after the Catholic habit of confessing before the start of Lent.

We also encountered a pair of tossers (of the pancake variety) who ran a pancake race in aid of a local children’s hospice.
