We have a new committee, roles to be detailed in the forthcoming handbook.

The new committee left to right, Tom Vaz (Communications Officer), Mark Hancock (Racing Secretary), Jo Rifaat (Social Secretary), Meike Turnbull (Club President), Peter Roberts (Club Captain), Vince Hemment (Rides and Administration Officer), Tim Styles (Touring Secretary), Fran Stedman (Club Secretary), Des Donohoe (Vice President), George Leung (Treasurer)

New Club Captain Peter Roberts is well known and highly respected within the club and has taken over from Mark Hancock who has done a great job steering us through the recent years and especially during the Covid lockdowns. Vince Hemment’s role as an unofficial administrator has become official, Tim Styles towering over us in the challenges of his past tours will be on hand to offer touring advice and finally Jo Rifaat will we hope be able to organise Social gatherings on and off the bikes for us all.

It was really good to see so many people at the AGM – the first since Covid. I think we had a final count of 41 people – must be a record in living memory.

Many thanks to Fran for organising such a good venue, a great choice for us to socially distance while discussing matters.
