Get Out & Enjoy our Winter Weather

I must admit, that I have to force myself to get out on my bike when it gets cold and frosty, so cut down drastically on my mileage. This inevitably means that I lose that hard won fitness that I gained during the summer months. But Warren has sent me a couple of items to encourage me to get out and continue enjoying our country lanes and frozen bridleways.
Also, the website is new to me, and it is a local website based at Redhill!

The first item is about things to do to your bike, to make it better and safer for you to ride. And the second, about what to wear to keep warm. O.K you longer term cyclists should already know most of these tips – but do you do them? So perhaps a reminder is in order. And newer bikers can learn some useful tips. So click on these: https://www.yellowjersey.co.uk/the-draft/winter-bike-survival-tips/

And how to keep warm even when the temperature hits zero!

And there’s even more! This one about safer cycling – don’t fall off on winter’s ice and snow
