Tuesday Ride: 21st May 2013.

“Which way to Bookham?”, I kept harassing our new Tuesday leader John Dadson. I guess the previous leaders were a hard act to follow but John has devoted himself to making us move on. “We just have to find the River Mole and follow it”, he said valiantly brandishing a map hand marked by Mr Turnbull himself! Very impressed with his devotion to duty we started to follow him blindly to our tea stop – The Bakery in Bookham.

En-route we encountered much to admire by way of mother nature. John is an encyclopaedia when it comes to flowers, birds and other wildlife so we pedalled along in wonder as he pointed out the cowslips, martens and bluebells and all sorts of things.
