Tuesday Ride: 18th February 2014

Our Shurguard meeting place hi-jacked by fire engines pumping away furiously to save Purley from flooding.

Our destination a tea shop in a bike shop at Westhumble station (Dorking) recommended by Sandra. We were made very welcome by the patron who showed us some of his ongoing bike builds. Ian was eyeing up a rather nice racer so maybe he will be trading in his mountain bike?

After a cup or two it was a blast up the zig zag with John D with his one gear the clear winner of the spotted jersey. There we joined John T for a time trial along the top of Box Hill with Meike trying to keep up in the broom wagon.
