Sunday Ride: 8th January 2017

An uncold January ride. Lots of us set out through Warlingham and were surprised to take a right off the road to Botley Hill. Ewa was so surprised she decided to stick to the traditional route to Four Elms.

She missed a novel route which had some interesting gradients to Crowhurst. Then we went east to the Garden Centre passing a returning Ewa as we arrived. Its a very small cafe but the incoming presence of the Anerley soon caused sufficient people to vacate their tables so the steamy picture above could be taken.

Prodigal son Jeremy arrived in the car park just in time to meet us leaving …

A semicircular arc through Hever and Marsh Green brought us to the Plough, Dormansland. Here I took pity on a deprived and unrefreshed Jeremy while the rest rode on into the afternoon.

They missed this interesting buttock clenching chair …

Back via Marden Park. About 46 miles and a moving average of 12.60mph
