Highway Code Rules 140 & 191

Yes summer is here and so the line up of cars blocking all roads to the dump. At least they have no red lights to jump …
[Highway Code Rules 140 & 191]

Jim promised us hills to die for and so six condemned turned up for the execution (or hadn’t checked The Bugle). Couldson, Kings Vale & down Box Hill. Jim sensed our apprehension and used the ‘softie’ ascent via Denbies to Ranmore Common. Shere was chocabloc with cyclists – a seat in a cafe would have been hard to find. The usual way home through Capel and Newdigate. It had been a long ride so we took an ice cream in Reigate’s park. Well eventually. About 30 minutes to serve six people. Jeremy had given up and gone home. The rest of us found the back way avoiding the one-way system and up the A23 back to the start. Nearly 60 miles.
