Saturday Ride: 6th January 2018

A gentle ride first back after the New year.

Four headed out via Clacketts Lane, Oxted and Lingfield to a tea stop at Horne Golf Club.

If you’ve not stopped for tea here it’s a great pace for cyclists. They have recently installed secure cycle racks with CCTV viewed in the Pro Shop, so bikes are well looked after and cyclists welcomed.

Drinks and food are well priced and it’s warm and comfortable inside which was most welcome on a very cold day. It was so cold Graham’s chocolate cake had snow on it.

Back via Outwood, Bletchingly and Caterham on the Hill. No pub stop !!!
