London Architectural Ride: 29th December 2011

Forty two cyclists turned up for a London architectural ride for a post-festiviity parambulation. Five were from the club, which some may claim made it an Anerley ride too. The five were part of the seven club members who have, this year, been on a Friday Night Ride to the Coast (FNRttC). But this was a cool and breezy Thursday afternoon and a pub on the riverfront at Shad substituted as a destination for the coast. Starting from Hyde Park Corner we zigzagged through central London taking in a eclectic collection of buildings from Queen Anne Mansions to The Gherkin. All accompanied by some strange stories …
