Anerley Charity Ride: 30th June 2018

 

The Anerley were out in force to support the iiChild charity summer camp.

Des led the regular riders out to the Old Jail at Biggin Hill. We had three novice riders who followed behind at a modest pace as they familiarised themselves with John D’s stable of bikes. They maintained an average 0f 6 mph over the journey which was clearly quite a huge undertaking for them doing a distance never imagined before unfamiliar with how modern motorists behave towards the more vulnerable.

Two of the three got there – and back. So lots of congrats. I hope you are all recovered and will want to continue riding into the future.
