Tuesday Ride: 12th June 2018

 

No prizes for guessing this is Redhill Aerodrome. An easy ride I thought. But Tim S decided otherwise leading us east not south after picking up the Coulsdon Crew.

After Farthing Down it was Bletchingly and taking a left at Outwood to Horne before heading back via Smallfield to the cafe stop. Well over 20 miles! A quick canter back home. Did everyone think Tim was joking when he said Box Hill?

I did – but west we went into Surrey Hills country before cutting down to Pixham and then the climb. For once Box Hill was practically deserted:

Back via Walton and the Kingswood Estate. An impressive 48 miles @ 12.29 mph for the Tuesdays. A great, enjoyable and innovative ride Tim. You must do more!
