2016Rides

Tuesday Ride: 5th January 2016

20160105_123737A good leader is decisive and yet willing to change his mind. I am at least half way to being a good leader because I changed my mind several times! For every cycling day there is a Goldilocks route which is not too long and not too short but just right.

Bucklands was too short, Hildenborough was too long and in the end Four Elms was just right.

Thirteen left together from Shurguard, two left at Botley Hill, one went on to Hildenborough in a story that Agatha Christie could have written (it would certainly have saved me the trouble on a Friday night!)
John and Meike eventually found us and as three more took the shorter, hillier route home via Crockham Hill, the rest of us meandered back via Edenbridge. John D and TomTom fixed Sandra’s puncture at Woldingham.

No murders but a good ride nevertheless.
