Tuesday Ride: 4th August 2015

John D set off to Polesdon Lacey with Jenny, Jeff and Ruth, Sandra, Rickie, Tom Tom, Ian and Ken. Unfortunately Jenny had to bail out in Chipstead Valley with bike problems while Rickie made it as far as the foot of Boxhill. The rest made it up the 20% Chapel Hill to Polesdon Lacey to be met by John and Meike. Coming back up Box Hill we picked up a potential new member Billy who accompanied us home to Coulsdon.

As the photos show, 2 different bikes were out – a nice new aluminium Trek racer of Ian and Tom Tom’s beautifully restored Ernie Clements. J.T. gave both bikes his usual considered evaluation.
