Tuesday Ride 31st July 2012

The Tuesdays enjoyed a pleasant but tough, hilly ride to Four Elms nursery and back. However, the excitement of the Olympics might be said to have turned their minds to other sporting possibilities . . .

On the other hand, a lot of work clearly needs to be done. Perhaps we should stick to cycling.

Of course, if all else fails, one can always pray!

Perhaps we can come up with a new silly sport for the Olympics. Judging by the inclusion over the history of the Olympics of sports such as Live Pigeon Shooting, Tug of War, Long Jump for Horses, and Beach Volleyball, it is always a possibility. A gymnastics routine on the seat of the bicycle instead of the balance beam? Diving off your bicycle, or even better, diving onto your bicycle? Please post your best ideas below!
