John D led fourteen of us on a rain threatening day to Biggin Hill. Given the conditions and the detritus and flooding left over from Storm Angus we stuck more to the main roads than usual. Sadly that didn’t exclude the killer climb past Keston Church. Then through Downe to the Look Out Cafe overlooking the airfield where John & Meike awaited us.
Leaving we took a quick excursion for the photo opportunity.
We looped round to Tatsfield and the Tatsfield by-pass (aka Chestnut Avenue) which had some breathtaking views. We re-united for Botley before splitting for our final destinations. John D & TomTom heading into a suspiciopus looking rainbow. Hope it wasn’t too wet for you!
