Thursday Run: 7th January 2016

First of all well done to the riders out today,which where Berlinda, Bob, Dave, Barry and myelf.

We started the ride in the dry but by Chipstead the weather turned very wet,not a shower but a monsoon,after waiting under a canopy for 15 minutes we decided to go to the Italian café for a coffee. About 11am we decided to carry on in the rain. Berlinda and Bob soon turned back so myself Barry and Dave carried on. By the time we reached Kingswood the rain had stopped but the wind had picked up,as we reached Hurst Lane we found a fallen tree across the road. Being three of the craziest riders in the club we thought lets get over and under this tree.

Once over and under we reached Bike Beans Ashtead for a nice hotpot and coffee. After a while we where joined by Jamie the owner and his mate who had been mountain biking. After lunch we rode back via Headley and Walton on the Hill and kingswood. About 30 miles
