Sunday Ride: 3rd March 2013

A good turnout of riders on Sunday headed to for elevenses. Although one of the preferred tea stops some confusion did occur between the purchasers and the vendor, for instance “can I have a mug of tea and a toasted teacake?” and subsequently was offered two cups of tea and toast! One other person after placing her order received a “double” portion of bacon, eggs and toast, and very welcome it was too.

Lunch stop was at a very quaint pub in Holmbury St Mary. The overall route for the day was fairly hilly especially if you went home via Friday Street, (approx 45 miles round trip).
