Not the Saturday Ride: 24th November 2018

The forecast was for single figure temperatures and rain all day so the official ride was cancelled. As it turned out the weather wasn’t that bad and realising that the Saturdays were in danger of getting a reputation as weather wimps Roger and Pete decided to head out for a shortish off road ride. 

Up Old Lodge Lane, across the airfield and then on to the North Downs and through the woods to the top of Marden Park. Down Marden Park up the Zig Zag to take shelter, from the rain which had finally arrived, in the Wattenden Arms. 18 miles at a muddy 9.1 mph
