Flying to Scotland or taking the train to Devon? Want to ride around your destination on your bike but the hassle of getting it and all your other luggage there is just too much?

Well there is a new service that promises to get it from any UK address to any other UK address in just one day for £9.99. What could be better? There is one obvious downside, it needs to be in a bike box. But that should mean it is still in good nick when its got there and got back.

Bike Boxes are expensive but owners don’t use them every day so you might be able to borrow or rent one. I have the one below which is designed for the Brompton. It may take a few pints to persuade me … and I am guessing there are other club members with boxes for road bikes. Just ask around.
