Tuesday Ride: 22nd December 2015

As the weather was pretty rough Tom V cancelled the official ride. However, five cyclists turned up at Purley Oaks and cycled off towards Redhill Aerodrome in a club like formation. We went up and down a load of hills in Purley, Kenley and Caterham on the Hill before Tom V discovered a puncture in his puncture proof Marathon Plus (two large pieces of glass. While the puncture was being investigated with the help of a friendly local and his bucket of water, Dave G disovered that his chain had come apart.

After all these shenanigans the rain had come in and we were all wet. Not exactly made it to Redhill but we got to a delightful café in a mysterious location. To continue in John Turnbull’s tradition, 1 shilling if you can identify which café!
