Tuesday Ride: 27th January 2015

On a very chilly day the riders led by John D headed off to the Ide Hill community café. John T and Mieke were already at the tea stop as the group arrived chilled and a little peckish. Todays ride marked a special occasion for John D was celebrating 25 years with the cycling club and also it was his birthday the week before.

Conveniently John D left his wallet at home when it came to getting the birthday teas in but promised to pay for the teas whoever birthday it is next, good man! Today also saw Dave, (Jenny’s husband) announce his retirement so good news all round.

The riders set off back the same route they came and up through the scenic Pilgrims way, followed by the steady climb up the humble Clarkes Lane to home.
