Time Flies By – Anerley’s Most Adventurous Ride in it’s 140 year History!

Well it’s that time of year again!

Stirring stuff this month. Des is still leading rides at the age of 83. An incredible servant of the club and a fine example to us all. Also, Brian tells how he lost and regained his sight on a recent trek up Kilimanjaro.

It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of the UK’s longest serving monarch. Our thoughts are with her family at this time. The dignity and integrity with which Elizabeth II carried out her role was a shining example of public service to the nation. She will be sadly missed.

Little did we know that the world’s news would be superseded by the incredible loss of one of our own members …

I hope that most of you have been making plans for what you will be doing, now that we have longer and sunnier days ahead. This month we have lots to report! What we have been doing recently, and more important, what we will be doing in the coming months – so lots for you to read.
