As of 2025 we updated our kit and it looks fabulous. We are now using brighter colours and we changed our kit supplier too and now have improved materials and a better cut (depending on your shape!). There has been an excellent take up of the new kit, maybe helped by an initial discount to encourage this, but mainly due to most members preferring the new kit.

We are very proud of our heritage; the founding year 1881 is maintained on the right sleeve, and surrounding the Anerley badge with the text “SETTING THE PACE SINCE 1881”.
Brighter colours but still maintaining a gold palette; more yellow gold than the darker colour we had previously.
The kit redesign sub-committee have done a great job in updating the design but also maintaining our heritage.
Unfortunately there is quite a large minimum order so we can only periodically buy new kit. Members wanting kit should approach any committee member to pass on to the appropriate person collating for a future order.

But we are a very inclusive club

We are a very inclusive club and members wearing the old kit with 1881 featured across the chest will still be a common sight. Modelled here by Vince.
Less common is the chevron kit which is even older and modelled here by Des.
Wearing the kit advertises the club and makes us more visible, but we certainly don’t insist that riders wear club colours. The only time it may be expected is in the racing environment.
