QUOTE  OF THE WEEK

“No one messes with me." - @Nina (Tom's wife)

BICYCLISTS OF THE WEEK

All these lovely cyclists and partners for turning up for the annual dinner. More pictures and a full report of where all the shiny Club silverware went:

BICYCLE  OF THE WEEK

There are volumes of love letters from Brompton owners to their bikes on the Facebook Group:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/bromptonbicycle

After two punctures in 2 weeks, I still love my Brompton but now marginally less than I love my wife.

PURLEY SWIMATHON 2019

The Anerley leave their bikes behind and take to the water in aid of our local charities. Please help us stay afloat with a sponsorship - every donation makes a difference, no matter how small!

RIDE REPORTS

Saturdays: no report

Sundays: no report

Tuesdays: a very hilly ride to Oxted with Tom. Why the gloomy faces? Morrisons is not that bad surely or maybe its the thought of going home via Chalkpit Lane?

Thursdays: Bright and beautiful to East Molesey Cricket Club

As I arrived home after a 360 mile round trip drive with 35 hilly miles in the unspoilt rural landscape of the Blackdown Hills straddling Somerset and Devon, I received a phone call from Mrs Diana Grove (Stuart's long suffering wife). Our beloved Bugle Editor has burst an eardrum and is in excruciating pain. Fear not, his personal matron has drugged him and sent him off to bed from whence I hope he will return next week with a “proper” Bugle.

Happy (hilly) Cycling!
Tom V
