BICYCLIST OF THE WEEK

Jeremy Vine, Radio 2 street hero, brings road rage motorist to justice. Shanique Pearson was convicted of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour plus driving without reasonable consideration for other road users.

Bad girl Pearson (22), already with a suspended sentence arising from a string of violent, theft and driving offences now faces jail. Given that while awaitng trial she tweeted "don't ever get infrount of my car cah I wouldn't b stopping" keeping her off the road permanently would seem to be a minimal requirement.

Meanwhile Jeremy Clarkson has weighed in attacking Jeremy Vine for (correctly) taking the prime position for being selfish for getting in the way of a driver "who might be rushing to hospital". True but prime position is precisely to avoid ending up in one. You get our L-Plate award for that one JC.
